Being responsible for the evaluation and testing of the LawnStarter platform. You will collaborate with software engineering, product management, and design teams to design and execute tests to ensure quality software delivered to the customers on a daily basis.
What you’ll do
Be the customer! Work closely with the Operations team to ensure our customers’ needs are served
Shepherd the bug process, providing status updates from bug triage to delivery of fixes into production
Create and execute manual test cases
Perform exploratory testing of existing applications
Evangelize quality! Analyze and anticipate process optimizations to reduce cost and improve efficiency through the software development cycle
Play a key role in evaluating and documenting departmental processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Apply hands-on technical troubleshooting skills to existing processes with quality problems

Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in working in a customer-centric, manual testing environment
Experience using issue tracking tools like Jira, and collaboration tools such as Confluence
Comfort in testing both front and backend web services
Solid knowledge of SQL
Expertise testing on various devices: mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computer
Smart, creative individuals who are passionate about innovation and aren't afraid to show it
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
