Being responsible for building systems that are reliable and simple, user experiences that are beautiful and frictionless, and internal tools that help the team to do their jobs better.

What you’ll do as Senior Full Stack Engineer

  • Contribute to ideas for projects to drive the team forward.
  • Develop new features that surprise and delight the users.
  • Work up and down the stack, from schema changes to front end Javascript in the same day.
  • Work with product managers and designers to build a well-rounded product.
  • Measure and graph your features so we can know how something is performing.
  • Constantly be learning from teammates, as well as sharing any knowledge and skills you have with others.
  • Create with empathy - always considering the end user and be an advocate for their experience.

In order to succeed in this position, you will need

Mandatory skills

  • Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience working with web systems and frontend development, specifically with React.JS
  • Previous experience with GraphQL
  • Knowledge of AWS, Postegres and Docker
  • Familiarity with StatsD and Datadog
  • Previous experience working with backend development, using languages such as Ruby on Rails, Node.JS or Python

Non-technical skills:

  • Collaboration is a must, you'll work side by side with software engineering, product management, and design teams
  • Desire to work helping small businesses
  • Curious, humble, and can hop in and tackle a wide range of projects
