Our Culture

What you'll do as a Tech Lead/Senior Software Engineer

You'll review quantitative and qualitative research about our clients and learners and weigh in on the product strategy and roadmap.
Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure a seamless integration of our frontend code with the app shell as well as defining native features to expose.
Play a leadership role in code reviews for the team, helping set the engineer bar, defining best practices, and weighing in on major architecture decisions.
You'll ship regularly and iteratively, writing testable, readable, and maintainable code.

In order to succeed in this position, you will need:

Mandatory skills

Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
solid experience building high-quality software products, database and third-party integrations with APIs.
Previous experience managing projects, mentoring, developing and guiding junior engineers, code reviewing, sharing best practices and making architecture decisions.
Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript and CSS in the frontend, and Python/Django, for the backend.
Experience working with AWS, Terraform and Microservices.

Nice-to-have

Experience working with Datadog, Kubernetes and Celery are a plus.

Non-technical skills
