Challenge

City Wonders is looking for a talented .NET / React Developer to join its ambitious software development team. The successful candidate will work remotely within a team that is responsible for maintaining the company’s suite of consumer websites and back-office web applications.

City Wonders is looking for an individual with a very strong foundation working with React, C# and the .NET Framework, for both enterprise and consumer-facing applications. Finally, the candidate will have a proven track record of delivering and maintaining high-quality software, which is performant, reliable, secure, and manageable

In order to succeed in this position, you will need:

Mandatory skills

• Solid experience developing production-ready web applications for business or consumers.
• Previous experience working with C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core and MVC.
• Experience using frontend technologies, specifically React.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Strong understanding of best practices and SOLID principles.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools, such as Azure or equivalent.
• Experience in the full development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Non-technical skills

• Sets the agenda in their area of responsibility, driving self & others accordingly.
• Able to build collaboration between colleagues & work across the organization.
• Someone with a positive attitude and sense of humor, who will strive to get along with the team.
• Solid English communication skills.
