What you’ll do as a CloudOps Engineer

• Monitor and analyze Revolgy's client infrastructure and enhance it by alerting policies, reacting to their customers' issues, incidents, and requests.
• Fix technical problems and analyze their root cause on customers’ cloud systems.
• Implement Security Best Practices and mitigate security threats.
• Implement Revolgy's service for new customers and recommend changes and improvements.
• Assess already-migrated systems and give recommendations.
• Implement managed infrastructure services for the clients and for internal purposes.
• Responsible for technical development of internal services.
• Communicate with customers and providers counterparts

Challenges

Performing necessary actions to resolve client's issues; maintaining, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating monitoring and alerting solutions and reacting upon events. Being responsible for the technical development of Revolgy services and identifying SPOF and vulnerabilities in the customers' systems.

In order to succeed in this position, you will need

Mandatory skills

• Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Infrastructure provisioning (such as Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Docker, etc).
• Experience with CI/CD (knowledge of the principles and ability to set up a pipeline from scratch).
• Solid experience with containers, databases, web services, Linux system administration.
• Understanding and exposure to Kubernetes and GKE/EKS.
• Previous experience working with Prometheus, Grafana or any other observability tools
• Knowledge of programming experience in trendy languages (Python, Golang, or others).

Nice-to-have

• Background in computer systems and networks and/or operations.
• Background in security topics is an advantage.

Non-technical skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaboration is a must, you'll work side by side with software engineering and product management.
• High accountability and the ability to work independently, team spirit, great analytical skills
